Amy Kennedy is a mid-career ceramic artist and artist mentor. After receiving solid training at RMIT University, she hesitantly launched herself into the adventurous world of international artist residencies, beginning with the European Ceramic Work Centre in The Netherlands. This experience introduced Amy to the potential of artist residencies in encouraging incredible risk-taking, experimentation, and courage. Her work has been recognised by the Australian Council for the Arts and The Ian Potter Foundation. She exhibits nationally, and her work is held in the collections of The National Gallery of Victoria and The Art Gallery of South Australia. The search for the exceptional and unexpected in her work is her creative fuel, and she is dedicated to helping other artists create and discover the exceptional in their own work.
Attendance at the workshop is free!
