Open Day | M16 Artspace

  • M16 Artspace 21 Blaxland Crescent Griffith, ACT, 2603 Australia (map)

Explore creativity first-hand on Saturday 9 November, 10am-4pm as M16 Artspace hosts its annual Open Day.

Since its establishment in 1985, M16 Artspace has been a hub for artistic expression, inclusivity, and creativity in Canberra. The Open Day offers a unique opportunity to connect with artists and community art organisations and support an integral part of the local arts community.

Visitors are invited to engage with artists in their studios, gaining valuable insights into their techniques and inspirations and supporting them directly. The resident community art workshops will also open their doors, giving the public the opportunity to view creative demonstrations and the work of their members.

During the Open Day, visitors can view the latest M16 Artspace exhibitions, including the annual studio artists show. Barista-made coffee will be available to purchase throughout the day, and complimentary drinks will be served in the afternoon, thanks to our generous sponsors, Bentspoke Brewing Co and Quarry Hill Wines.
