Try your hand at making felt in a short workshop for beginners and visit the Pop-up Felt Shop to find handmade felt treasures ranging from small gifts to wearable art.
Canberra Region Feltmakers is a group which loves to share ideas, innovate and have fun making felt. The techniques used are constantly evolving. The work includes jewellery, quirky small pieces, accessories, homewares and designer felt garments. Members range from beginners through to master Feltmakers who exhibit and tutor across Australia. There is a shop specialising in felting supplies and a library for members. There are drop-in days and workshops covering topics from beginner felt making through to specialist techniques with international tutors.
